First-day checklist
- Install from an official store. iOS needs 17.0 or later (about 399 MB download on the App Store). Android is on Google Play. Some devices aren't supported, per the official site.
- Link a Bandai Namco ID for data transfer before you invest time or money.
- Create your Soul Reaper. You choose the avatar's look plus your Zanpakuto's appearance and fighting style (see Customization).
- Collect launch rewards from the Item Box and in-game notices.
- Build a 3-character team around one plan (below).
- Read the in-app notices. Version 1.0.1 announces Sosuke Aizen.
Protect your account (Bandai Namco ID)
Bandai Namco's own campaign rules describe linking a Bandai Namco ID through the game's data transfer setup. It is also how web-campaign rewards reach you. For example, the Thirteen Court Guard Squads Aptitude Test campaign (Oct 20 to Oct 31, 2026, 14:59 UTC) gives 500 Mirror Gems to every entrant. Those Gems arrive in your Item Box only if you complete data transfer with the same Bandai Namco ID you used on the campaign site.
Bandai Namco ID isn't supported in some regions, according to the same rules. For ID problems, use the Bandai Namco ID Help page.
Claim your free rewards

Thinking about rerolling? Read the reroll & gacha guide first.
Your first team
You fight with a team of three. Ichigo and Rukia are free, and their kits fit together well:
- Rukia's Skill binds and her Mortal Blow freezes. Attacking an enemy with an ailment then triggers her team crit buff (up to +25% Crit Rate).
- Ichigo stacks Attack by landing Arts 1 and has a +40% Attack Skill, so he benefits from Rukia's crit support.
- For the third slot, look at Toshiro (crit attacker), Rangiku (Standby crit) or Sado (team damage, free Cover Change).
More combinations: team cores.
Learn the combat
- Each character has four Action Cards: Arts 1, Arts 2, Skill and Mortal Blow.
- Switching matters. Many kits trigger on field entry, Chain Entry or returning to Standby, so a static lineup wastes value.
- Mortal Blows have cooldowns, and Soul Drive is the team-wide combo for turning a fight.
- Status ailments (Bleed, Burn, Poison, Freeze and others) power many kits. See ailments.
Spending: Mirror Gems & Premium Pass
Mirror Gems are the premium currency named in official campaign rules. The game is free to download, with in-game purchases and loot boxes. The Premium Pass is a $5.99/month auto-renewing subscription (App Store listing). Cancel it from your store subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
Spend carefully in week one. Rarity gaps between 3★ and 4★, and the banner schedule, haven't been fully published yet. Saving Gems until featured banners are confirmed is low-risk.
Common mistakes
- Playing without data transfer set up, then losing progress on a device change.
- Using a different Bandai Namco ID on a campaign site than in the game, which means campaign rewards can't be received.
- Downloading APKs or “modded” builds from unofficial sites. Use only the official stores.
- Treating launch-week tier lists as fact. Ours shows its reasoning. Check the date on any list you read.
FAQ
How do I start playing BLEACH Mirrors High?
Install it free from the App Store (iOS 17.0 or later) or Google Play, create your own Soul Reaper avatar, and play through the original story set after the Thousand-Year Blood War. Link a Bandai Namco ID early so your account data can be transferred.
What free rewards do new players get?
The pre-registration milestone rewards reported for launch are 9,000 Mirror Gems, a 3★ Ichigo Kurosaki, a 3★ Rukia Kuchiki and five summon tickets that guarantee a 3★ or higher character. Check your in-game Item Box and notices for exact delivery.
Is the Premium Pass worth it?
The Premium Pass is a $5.99 per month auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features. Bandai Namco has not listed its exact contents in the store text we reviewed, so check the in-game details before you subscribe. You cancel it through your App Store or Google Play subscriptions, not by deleting the app.
