Glossary

Official = defined on the official site or store page. Kit text = the term appears in official character kits, and our explanation is based on how the kits use it.

Action Card Official
The attacks you choose in battle. Each character has Arts 1, Arts 2, a Skill and a Mortal Blow.
Arts (Blitz / Power / Projectile) Official
Each Arts card has a type. Blitz Arts are lunges and weapon extensions, Power Arts are combos and heavy single strikes, and Projectile Arts are ranged shots.
Attack Category Official
Every attack is Physical or Spiritual. Some debuffs only affect one category, such as Mayuri’s Skill, which lowers enemy Physical Defense.
Skill Official
Typed as Special (a buff or debuff) or Special Attack (a damaging spell, such as Rukia’s Bakudo #1: Sai).
Mortal Blow Official
Each character’s animated finisher. It has a cooldown, and some Innates reduce it (Ichigo −4 Counts, Yoruichi −3).
Soul Drive Official
Coordinated team attack with your 3-character squad (official site and store listing).
Count Kit text
The unit every duration and cooldown uses, e.g. “for 20 Count(s)”. Its exact real-time length isn’t published.
Switch / Standby Kit text
Swapping the active character. The others wait on Standby. Switching has a cooldown, which several Spirit Abilities reduce.
Chain Attack / Chain Entry Kit text
Entering the field through a Chain Attack. Chain-type characters get Draw Point Bonus +100 and other effects on Chain Entry.
Cover Change Kit text
A defensive entry. With a Shield-type (Sado), the ally who switches out incurs no Switch cooldown.
Clash / Counter Kit text
Attacks can Clash. Winning is affected by “Clash Victory Rate”, and successful counters trigger effects for Clash-types (Renji, Grimmjow, Bambietta).
Pursuit Combo Kit text
A follow-up combo. Combo-types gain Draw Points when they land it or down an enemy with it.
Vanishing Evasion Kit text
A successful dodge that uses the Evasion Gauge. Shadow-types get +1 max gauge and trigger buffs on success.
Draw Point Bonus Kit text
A resource many abilities grant (e.g. +100 on field entry). The launch posts don’t define it. The name suggests it relates to drawing Action Cards.
Seal Switch Kit text
Prevents the opponent from switching (Yoruichi’s Skill, 10 Counts).
